Gettin' er done.

Sounds dirty... lol

 Okay, yesterday - very productive day. I managed to draw up a Kindred page - started the story - figured out my "process" and how I'm going to work on that project. You might think by looking at things I've done that I know what I'm doing... but seriously I fly by the seat of my pants and there really has to be a process of some sort to me. Like getting dressed. Starts with coffee. Well actually it starts with a trip to the bathroom THEN coffee, then breakfast, shower and finally dressing. I can't do it in any other order or I feel completely messed up.

So, I figured out my process for making pages for the Kindred book - first, I'm gonna draw it on paper with blue or graphite pencil - THEN - I'll scan it into the computer and change it to CMYK.
(cyan, magenta, yellow and black) While in Photoshop I'll delete all the layers except for the blue - which I'll print onto vellum and ink by hand.

The test sheet I did yesterday looked not too shabby - and when we finally got the right kind of copy at the Kinko's not far from the house - the blue lines were near impossible to see.

The best part?

While I'm in Photoshop I can add all the text.

I hate eyeballing copy - and that was one of my biggest concerns. Now... no worries!

Anyrate - I just finished my coffee, now so I gotta move on to the next step. Sides, I need to get drawing.
